It’s one of the most talked about moments on the fashion calendar, and the street style of Haute Couture Fashion Week certainly didn’t disappoint. Moving away from experimental styles and sticking closer to classic tailoring and intricate detailing, there were plenty of looks that turned heads on the streets of Paris this year. Fashionistas donned layers of tulle, ruffles and feathers, wrapped in asymmetrical mini dresses, high and voluminous skirts in bold hues, moving elegantly with every step. We’ve also seen plenty of suits this season, in bright, vibrant hues such as Valentino-inspired hot pink, Bottega Veneta-infused green, purple and orange, to name a few. Of course, it wouldn’t be Haute Couture Fashion Week without lots of neutral colors and pops of black and white to create edgy, edgy outfits. It was also the year of the cutout, with flashes of skin showing through shirts, dresses and jumpsuits for a sexy and sophisticated feel. When it comes to accessories, Schiaparelli certainly inspired maximalism, with lots of gold and abstract earrings to amp up already complex ensembles. Additionally, we saw bags that accentuated outfits, either in monochromatic or neutral hues to counterbalance the colorful garments worn by attendees. Say hello to a new season of trends and get inspired for your next shopping spree. Here are the hottest street style outfits we saw at Haute Couture Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2022.”
